Everything was simply first-class. The weather was warm sunny, had really good stay for one night. The location was beautiful and unbeatable, really close to the ramparts as well as Portugal-Spain. It also was to the garden outside.

I recently stayed at Eurostars and it was a stunning hotel! The mix of modern comfort and old-world charm was fabulous. Staying in a fort was a unique experience that I loved. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The reception staff provided excellent service. The hotel is located in a quiet area with good parking options. The design of the hotel, especially the suites, was very individual and nicely appointed. The breakfast at Eurostars was the best I've ever experienced in Spain - a large buffet with high-quality products. it was truly a one-of-a-kind hotel.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's historical ambiance and elegant decor transported me back in time. The grand hallways and beautiful courtyard were a delight to explore, providing plenty of picturesque corners to sit and relax. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with spacious elevators and well-marked corridors making it easy for me to navigate.
I would have loved to see the children working there offer more assistance with luggage and provide extra support to senior guests.

I always choose this place for my stay. No regrets. At my first stay, the staff helped with restaurant recommendations. It suits me perfectly. Wi-Fi in rooms, car park on request, 24-hour reception, bar/lounge area, restaurant. Coming back for a city break.

Amazing fortress turned hotel with great history, and set in a very quiet location. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and with local products. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The rooms were a bit damp, so it was difficult to dry towels. There was no room service offered on New Year's Eve, which was a bit disappointing.

I had an incredible experience staying at this unique hotel located inside an old fortress. the location, just across the border from Portugal and only ten minutes away from Almeida, added to the charm of the place. the food at the restaurant was amazing, especially the salads at lunchtime. the room and bathroom were well-appointed and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. the breakfast offered a traditional buffet, which was a great start to the day. the view of the surrounding Spanish and Portuguese landscape was breathtaking.
The communal areas could use some attention and maintenance.
